Being a bride to be has some awesome perks to it. Aside from the excitement of marrying the man of your dreams and being able to command 24/7 attention from your girlfriends, your also able to get on one of your favorite shows….liiiiiiiiike *cues drumroll*……TLC‘s Say YES to the dress!
I was so excited when TLC producers asked us to be a part of their upcoming ‘say yes’ special featuring NFL brides. I love checking out this show every week and either Awwwwww-ing or Ewwwwww-ing at the dress choices that the brides and Randy make. I had my girls (and Hip Hop POV co-hosts) Amanda Seales and Sowmya Krishnamurthy with me, plus I brought along my then fiancé Duane (spoiler alert… yes he saw my dress, and no I don’t believe in jinx’s.) Now I gotta be honest here, I actually already had found an amazing Vera Wang dress at Saks in L.A, but while trying on dresses at Klinefeld’s ending up finding a corseted Pnina Tornai that blew me away.
