Most of you will only know this project is “westcoast” because of it’s title… for the more seasoned tho…you will fall in love with the pure essence of it. From the cover…to the interludes…to the refrences, the cadence, the subject matter, the tempo….this is CULTURAL.

The Toyota Center was home of the 2011 Sneaker Summit on Sunday. Let me first start by confessing that I am by far not a sneaker head. Heels? All day. Sneakers?….eh. I own a few J’s and pairs of chucks but I’m far from being your typical sneaker summit goer. All that being said, I rolled thru with Dom Kennedy and cARTer (they had a meet & great before the #Texicali function I hosted) and took pictures galore. Peep the scene when you click for more!

Last night I checked out the homie Dom Kennedy at his show at Ground Hall in Htown. Above u can peep video of him performing “For Local’s Only” & “A Leimert Park Song” and below you can see some pics of the nights escapades. All I have to say is Archie, DrewByrd, and DJ Mr. Roggers are kidnappers! High Rollerssssss!
