Read More Post a comment (0)The first thing I saw this morning was a tweet from my boy CthaGod saying the We the World 25 video looked like a bad SNL skit. I got what he meant during the last 50 seconds. Personally I thought the video looked great until the autotune came in. But regardless of how cheesy some may find it…its for a great cause and its always fun to see familiar faces and hear familiar voices.

After going to the Freedom Awards in the fall- My boy Quddus realized what a problem modern day slavery still is- 27 million people deep to be exact- and now that there’s so many orphaned children vulnerable to traffickers in Haiti that number is only getting bigger. To raise awareness for this issue he’s launching “A Contest For Freedom” and handing out a cash prize of $800 to the most inspiring and most popular short videos about why slavery sucks.
